Discover more about Motability at Naidex 2009 : Thursday 9th April 2009

Over 500,000 disabled people across the UK are currently enjoying a brand new car, powered wheelchair or scooter through the Motability Scheme. Yet there are over a million people who are eligible to join the Scheme who haven't taken up the opportunity.

Motability will be spreading the word about the benefits of the Scheme at Naidex 2009, the UK's largest event for homecare, disability and rehabilitation, which is taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, between Tuesday 28 April and Thursday 30 April. Motability staff will be available on stand F86 to answer questions and provide information to help people discover how they can simply swap their government funded mobility allowance to buy or lease a vehicle of their choice. The Contract Hire package for a new car includes insurance, tyre and windscreen replacement, servicing, breakdown cover and road tax.

Over 300 companies are due to attend this year's exhibition, offering the opportunity to touch, test and compare many of the latest products and services available on the market. From healthcare professionals, to members of the public, Naidex 2009 will have exhibits to meet everyone's needs. Entry is free and opening hours are 10am to 5pm on 28 and 29 April, and 10am to 4pm on 30 April.
